A mistake on the Transformers website is in our favor-- in Wreckage's product page, pictures of Dreadwing are shown instead:

    http://www.hasbro.com/transformers/default.cfm?page=Products/Detail&product_id=19708

    (Found the news via Tformers.)

As far as my personal comments... I'm not all that crazy about this one. It could be mistransformed, of course, but it looks awkward.

EDIT: Egads, "TF movie site update" isn't specific enough. Sorry.

Definitely not a remold of Armada Thrust.

    Also, kinda funky looking proportionally.

It's a nice update for the Arm Thrust. I like how the missiles are disguised as the Afterburner thrusts.

Dreadwing looks like he belongs in the StarWars TF line. Hes just too wonky looking to fit in with most of the other movie bot toys.

Looks like the generic Decepticons from the prequel comic. He's weird-looking, but it's nice that we'll be getting some comics-oriented toys.

    I think I'm in love.

I loves me some jet bot, especially with a beautiful MiG-29 Fulcrum alt mode

Bot mode is unique and has alot of character, now for properly transformed pictures

Um, okay. Just like Swindle, nice altmode, akward robot mode. But this is worse because it break ups so simplisticly. Basically the fuselage sprouts legs, the engines fold out, and the nose breaks in half. The body itself isn't touched.

Besides that, I really hope these drones have alternate heads.

I do sort of like it,but it jars so badly with the actual (far superior to me) Movie characters. No way would I have them together on the shelf.

Pretty poor. Proportions are bad, flame hands are stupid, head looks weird with that lens and a conehead, the leg jointing is bizzare and stupid, and the jet mode ain't great.

The Jet mode isn't bad if you realise its a MiG-29 instead of the usual F-15, F-22 or SU-27/35, though the underside is pretty kibbly

The Robot mode will look a lot better if something can be done to fold away/back/whatever the wings (and there are joints in the wing roots so its possible you can) and the "Flame hands" look like they are flame missiles, which are admittedly stupid, but at least removable.

I'm far from sold on it, but ity looks like it might not be as bad as first impressions indicate

I actually like that. I might get him, but I probably won't. I'm trying to limit the number of TF's that I plan on getting lately. It's a little hard, lol.

Why don't you wait to see proper pics of the toy by someone who actually knows how to transform toys properly and pose them well before making a final decision instead of jumping to conclusions based on a single pic of each mode?

Heck, its a movie toy. We know you're not going to like them. You know you're not going to like them.

There's people already saying they'll buy Dreadwing so either you're wrong about him sucking or there are several people with poor taste in toys.
