I've restored G1's before, but I've heard that the paint on Jetfire (esp the wings) tends to run. Anyone have any experience? I want to remove old labels and clean mine up to get it ready for reprolabels.

i've heard people trying to restore him but there is not much you can do to the white yellowed plastic...not that I know of anyways.
I wish I could be of better help...sorry

I Reprolabelled a Jetfire a while back. I stripped the entire toy down and cleaned it all off, and I didn't have any paint run problems, I have to admit. Maybe I was lucky.
Also, if it does have yellowed bits, your best bet would be to look on eBay for a junker with those parts in good condition. That's what I did, and my Jetfire looks great now. :)
