Cleaning a stove top

    Anyone know of anything that'll take the mess off the top of a gas stove top? I've tried 409 and lime away but some of the stains just wont come off.

    Ah...I guess it's a white metal. I couldn't say what type of metal.

    Concentrated sulphuric acid will remove almost anything. Quite possibly including the stove.
