so i went back and revisited a older project that didn't turn out as well as i hoped.
i tried to make a classics rendition of starscreams appearance when he aquired the power cosmic from the underbase.(think allspark, before bay got to it)
in the giant sized vintage marvel issue, starscream proceeded to deactivte and slaughter both autobots and decepticons, even though they tried to team up against him but to no avail.
in the end,his own lust for more power caused his down fall, absorbing the whole underbase and all of it's energies, growing to the point that he burst into spacedust(he grew larger than planet earth itself near the end)....his remains to be used later on for pretender starscream by megatron.

the paint works were done previously(like i said,it didn't turn out how i wanted),and another 12 hours have been used to panel line him to the extreme.(4 days, 3hrs a day)
i tried to make it look like he just recieved the first dose of the power cosmic, which is why he's only detailed half way in both modes in certain spots.
i'm now somewhat happier with this custom.

I loved the old comics, and I'm glad you didn't give him the creepy face from the cover. I like this custom, to be honest I'm happy you didn't cover him in lines. That IMO wouldn't look too great, it would've looked too crowded.

4 days and 3 hours to paint and panel line? Your patience is good!

What a great idea!! Looks very impressive even half done, but I'd love to see a full version.

The over-blocky shapes of the Classics mold really work in your favour here. In fact I have an oversized KO of the Classics mold (about MP seeker size) which I'm tempted to attack in the same way now! Would be interesting to see full-on monster face and claw hands...
