Here is the first of my Cybertron Mode Constructicons, Scrapper! This was probably the most in depth thing I've made so far, and some of the others are going to be far more so.

He's mostly a heavily modified Generations Red Alert, with modified Drift arms. His head is a sculpted over Plan B Special Forces soldier, and most of his surface is covered in styrene. Finally his wheels are from Universe Onslaught. Technically he's not completely done yet because I haven't added his Decepticon logo, or his Devastator connections, but those are going to be very non-intrusive so I felt fine painting him up and showing him. On that point, if anyone has any extra decepticon decals they'd like to donate to the project, I'd be most appreciative.

He's got a little paint rub, mostly on his scoop struts, but i didn't want to sand them down any cause they need to be strong for leg mode. I can live with it.

I'm really proud of this guy, and though its going to be quite a while before we have the whole team (plus Devastator), I'm excited about it. Enjoy!





and here I wanted to show that his scoop can be put in a more G1-ish configuration too if you want, though I prefer it as a hood

i KNOW you're going for cyb mode. but i think he kinda needs his little vehicle hat. JMO.

Regardless, this is fantastic looking, and a welcome change from all the Grindcores.

My plans for Devastator are coming together rather well. His extra pieces are going to be knee connectors, a crotch plate, a midtorso connection that will have have the chest shield and his shoulder connectors on it, a plate that'll attach to hook on top that'll have the ball jointe head, and his arms. I'm currently undecided how I'll attach his arms though. It really depend on how scavenger and bonecrusher come along. If I think I can effectively hide the connection pieces on them, they'll just attach directly to hook and the forearms. If not, I'll probably connect them in much the same way most people do menasor and superion arms: basically they'll just be attached to a full arm that attaches to hook. I'd rather do the former, I might not be able to pull it off. Good news though! No unicron legs. Really, i don't have any problem with people who use them, but I'd like to save myself from having to hear that tired complaint.

Awesome Take on War Within Scrapper, man.

 

Brilliant, just brilliant. That head custom really captures Scrapper.

 

Hey man, this is really, really cool!! I like that it's mostly created rather then the usual recipe for scrapper. One thing, I think you could improve on the look of the bucket though, maybe a bit thicker styrene or maybe add a bit more of a overhang? Really awesome though.

 

Thats cool. I'm eager to see a War Within Devastator, thats for sure.

I so want to try a devastator one of these days.All the greats have done it and one of these days Im gonna do one too. Hope it looks as good as this does. I really like the alt mode. Kinda WFC mixed with pre earth IDW comics. So far so good. Dont let the pressure get to ya, take yer time man!

Ooooohhhh... I am already drooling at the thought of that (am a combiner junkie, so yeah lol... I loooooove me some combiners)

Anyways, the figure looks awesome, truly screams Scrapper alright
