    Part 1: http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/radicons-customs/425908-classification-engineer-designation-scrapper-part-1-7-pic-heavy.html

Heres my Cybertron Mode (or War Within if you prefer that) Hook. He is all Generations Thrust with styrene additions. There are a couple deviations between him and the art, but over all, the concept is the same. His chest is a more traditional Hook chest (based off of Megatron 31s tutorial actually, though looking at it now, the right side of it is a little lopsided), I also added the forward driving compartment, as i feel like its just not Hook without it. He looks a little bland in crane mode, but I can live with it. I mean, when you have a full set of Constructicons that can form Devastator, who the hell is going to display them in vehicle mode? I'm particularly happy with how his caution stripes came out, as I completely free handed them. They're not absolutely perfect, but I was in a rush to get him done and didn't feel like busting out the tape. I'm also a little bummed that Scrapper (and eventually Mixmaster) are going to be so much taller than the other four, but I can deal with it.

I absolutely love the new mold choices and the heads just scream generation 1, however some of the custom styrene paneling could have been cleaned up a lil more before paint. Overall amazing work Tango:)

Very, very interesting. It looks a tiny bit rough BUT the cool factor still outweighs that little nit pick tremendously! Very interesting thread that I'll definitely follow!!

hey thanks guys, I really appreciate it.

@gatchaman: The green i'm using is tamiya light green spray, which on its own is is a little too vibrant and glossy, but after some silver dry brushing and devlan mud washing, it becomes the color you see. I was really worried after my first test spray, but it got there.

@malfunction: definitely agree. I'm still newish to styrene work, and I've got a lot of learning to do on the subject. In person, the edges and such aren't as noticeable, but in under the photography lights, the silver drybrushing really brings out the roughness of some of out. I think what I need to do is start using more layers and then sanding... but that is such a pain in the ass.

In all honesty, as long as the overall piece looks the way you wanted you should be happy with what you accomplished. I mean just the planning and work put into this custom is very impressive all by themselves. And I love new combiner ideas!!!

    thanks again everyone.

@Alloy: The next will probably be bonecrusher. People may be disappointed though, him and Long Haul are going to be particularly unlike the original art.
