Here's a different take on the beat to death Classics wishlist: Which figures do you NOT want to see make it into the Classics line? Do you REALLY want to see another triple changer? Do you REALLY want to see City Bots? Do you REALLY want to see Beast Wars get the Classics treatment? Are you crazy for Classics and want them ALL? I for one don't want to see Hasbro attempt a triple changing Springer. I think there's too many restrictions due to safety laws, size class trends, etc. For Hasbro to pull it off. I'm sure I'm in the minority here, but there's always talk of another Optimus Prime. I'm against that as well. I love the original Classics version and don't feel we need another one. What do you think? Discuss.
I don't want to see triple changers unless it is a deluxe with a voyager budget, or a voyager with an ultra's budget. They can pull it off if they aren't restricted as I described above. I don't want to see City bots unless they are actually big enough to house deluxe. aka, I don't want to see City bots. If they do, please make them not transformable into a City unless they are way beyond Supreme class in size. That or sell them in components. Like a leg will turn into a battle station and cost 40$. Collect all 5 or 6 to form metroplex. I can forgive that if that's the size, and that the bot mode is articulated well. Do I want to see BW in classics? No. No. No. I am crazy for classics, but I don't want to see anymore of the "wouldn't it be cool if they made XXX?" "I wish they'd make YYY!" "How do you guys feel if they make ZZZ?" "When will they have a reissue of AAA?" and "When is BBB gonna come out?"
I for one would love a redux of classics with IDW esthetic Triple changers maybe just for springer City bots no Bw in classics just for a new cheetor But I am crazy for classics I'll take whatever i can get
For Classics I do NOT want to see- Cybertronian Seekers. Took us long enough to get the main ones, we don't need to start over again. RiD figures (retooled from other molds)- X-Brawn and Prowl were ahead of their time (I didn't much care for Side Burn). Sure, they aren't symmetrical, but re-using Ironhide and Red Alert doesn't do them justice. New molds or bust. Except for RiD Scourge, of course. That's just begging to happen. A "Cybertronian Blaster" that's just a retool of WfC Soundwave. Do not want. 'Nuff said.
I'm indifferent to a Springer triple-changer. He almost always turns into a chopper. I also fail to see the attraction of doing-over RiD en masse. Don't care to see non-show Beast characters, they don't matter to me. Most of the Pretenders who are any good have already been done, let that lie. I don't need to see another Galvatron at all. If we do, I prefer him at Deluxe scale. Anything else fails at interacting with Cyclonus. I'm not eager for "do-overs" or reissues for almost any of the figures that are already out.
I do not want to see city bots. I do not want some G1 cartoon extra seeker to get a toy. I do not want some a new Ultra Magnus. I do not want Omega Supreme.
No city bots. I was never really a fan of them anyway. No more combiners that are repaints from other lines. Don't touch RiD. I agree that the originals are just fine and don't really need an update.
I don't want to see cybertron modes in general. I like my transformers turning into stuff actually recognizable.
After Tankor I'm on the fence about triple changers as well, but damn I do want to see a blitzwing. could live without city bots could definitely live without any more RiD homages god forbid they do another armada figure I would love to see some constructicons though. I don't even care if they transform. They've already started a trend with Onslaught and Silverbolt of making the leaders by themselves, so I'd love to see a Scrapper or something.
