    Salutations ya'll

My new Wrecker is in the house.
Just made this one out from a KO Bulkhead mold easily found around here.

I've modeled a new head, mechanic claw, added a machinegun on it's left arm and changed the propeller blade.
Little light blue highlights all over.

    Hope u guys like it.

Please tutorial on how you did the Jumpstarters? Pretty please?

And how solid is the KO used for Whirl? Any chance of sending one up to me in Canada?

Very nice, as usual. i remember when Bulkhead first came out, I was waiting for someone to make a custom of Whirl, and I think this is the first one (sorry to anyone if they made one and I never saw it). Very nice, never had Whirl as a toy, but I always liked him.

Dammit! I wish I could find those KO's... I managed to get one online, but it was only the desert version... I desperately want a blue one to do exactly this custom Whirl! :)

Nice work... the head is interesting. Did you make it out of a marker cap or something? There's something familiar about the shape.

Your Wreckers look frickin' awesome together! :D

    Thanks!

These KO's became a surprise form me, I found it accidentally while I was visiting the toy shops.

You can find it here: http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/radicons-customs/323592-classics-top-spin-wrecking-around-2.html

The plastic ain't no that solid, I'd say kinda 5 out of 10 quality, no that bad... but you still can make good things out of it.

The only problem about shipping 'em over to you is that the shipment itself will get almost twice the price of the toy in some cases.

Toy coasts at brazilian retail about 25 USD and I estimate that the shipment to Canada around 30 USD on the post offices around here...quite unfair...

    Thanks.
Yeah they look like some sort of squad hehe, I like these colours.
I wonder when I'll be able to make the other guys, so the colours will get more varied.

Well, I don't believe I'm the first guy to use this mold, I haven't done previous searches, but surelly there might be others.
    Thanks D-Unit.

    Thanks SMOG!

This desert version is cool too! I almost got this one as I thought there weren't other colours available, when I noticed on the higher shelves the blue one were displayed. Good for me :)

Dude, those are popping up quite commonly in the toy shops here, no clue were they come from though as I threw the box away...

Probably they should pop up soon at KO toys or another chinese websites.

About the head, I knew someone would say it's is familiar HEHEHE
Great that you figured it out, but just in case you want to kill your curiosity.

The front part is a part of one of the most brick-esque triple changer ever created, guess who???

The rest of the head I made out from some random parts I had.

    Cheers

I have to say Whirl looks great. Like everytime I see Whirl he kinda reminds me that he could be Shockwave's brother because of the one optic and no face. If that made any sense. Anyways great work, man.

Wow, no kidding! 25 USD is already more than you'd probably pay for a loose or incomplete version of the official TF Bulkhead mold on Ebay. I'm surprised KO toys in Brazil are so expensive!

The quality on these figures is not bad for a KO, all things considered. But not nearly a Hasbro.

Lucky! For some reason, I was never able to find blue ones... only the tan version. Which is good if you want to make Sandstorm, I guess... that's your NEXT project. :lol

    China... like everything else. ;)

I think they already came and went in that market a couple of years ago... unless there's going to be another wave soon. Hope so.

    OMG! It's Broadside's FOOT! :D

    Well done, sir! :thumbs2:
