    Just a heads up.

Some shipments of the Classics figures are containing STRANGE assortments.

    Example:

    2x Bumblebee
    2x Astrotrain
    1x Rodimus
    1x Starscream
    2x Mirage

    3x Mirage
    1x Grimlock
    2x Bumblebee
    1x Astrotrain
    1x Starscream

    2x Mirage
    2x Bumblebee
    2x Astrotrain
    2x Rodimus

And some don't even have Mirage in it at all, yet are clearly labeled Wave 2. So if you're having trouble finding Grimlock ... this may be one reason. Dunno if this is everywhere, but it's been happening in the Denver area.

I think you left out a figure in that 2nd assortment. Glad I found my Grimlock and Mirage recently.

Really? Where I go to, Grimlock is stocked to the limit. He hogs up the whole shelf of the toy isle. Him and Mirage.

Both Mirage and Grimlock are rare here, but Grimlock is more rare. I've seen Mirage once or twice since i got him. I only found Grimlock at one Hastings for $3 more than everywhere else.

Next time anyone says "distribution isn't Hasbro's fault", remember this.

    Yes it is.

I've picked up the one Grimlock I've seen among 4 WMs, 2 Targets, and 1 TRU- that's just here in Lakeland. Since I often head out to Tampa or Orlando, I check other stores along the way. One Grimlock. At this point, I've seen about 15 Mirages, though.

Kickback, how do you know these were real case assortments? I know at most Targets (despite what signs say), they will go out back and pull certain figures if you ask nicely. They will also combine various open cases to consolidate them. I've seen this happen with stock at walmart too. So far BBTS and Entertainment Earth have both only led us to believe there's one assortment.

Oddly, I've seen very little of wave 2 around here, at all. I picked up Grimlock, but only after finding him hidden behind Cybertron figures on the peg. I've yet to see Mirage, at all, and Jetfire, while out there, is rare too.

So, what you're saying is there isn't so much a wave two case assortment as there's just a whole shit-pile of toys laying at the factory that they randomly stuff into boxes. Grimlock is kinda like a bonus figure by the looks of it. Put one into every three boxes you ship and call it good.

Heres one that I have personally seen about a month ago when I was helping the Overnight Toys Associate at my work (Wal-Mart) get his department finished:

    3x Mirage
    1x Grimlock
    2x Bumblebee
    1x Rodimus
    1x Starscream

I was wondering why it was looking werid

I have seen both Grimlock and Mirage in the Dallas area, but Grimlock does appear to be the rarer of the two. I'm not 'supposed' to buy myself toys before Christmas, but I remembered a few years ago when I saw Alternators Dead End and I thought to myself "I'll just pick him up after Christmas." But, that was the one and only time I ever saw that toy on the shelves.
So, I went ahead and got them. I'll just open them after Christmas.

I'm trying to get my kid the Ben Tennyson figure from Ben 10.
I've seen pictures of it on the packaging, but I don't think that figure really exists -impossible to find.

EXACT same thing happened to me with Alternators Tracks ( well the first time around in Red Box).

But at Fry's here in Illinois, they have a WALL full of classics deluxes...Hundreds of classics. Out of that whole wall which was stocked to the max, & each peg containing 3-4 of the same figure...I'd estimate there were only about 6 Grimlocks on the whole wall, 20 or so Mirages, & 40 + of the other figures
