dude ive taken the week of work to complete at least vortex and brawl so stay tuned for this, after this week tho im at sea for 5 weeks so progress will be slow, but im hoping to get alot done this week, and as for bruticus, im going to redesign his feet plates to have ball joint or ratchet joints for more movement, and then i have to build the sockets for where his arms plug into.
Gotta love sea time! Can't wait to see this bad boy finished. I almost used this idea for my Bruticus...but decided to leave this one to you. Though I will probably do one as a stand alone figure for my collection. Who doesn't want an apache transformer?!?
dude u should have i wouldnt of minded really! yep sea time is good, especially when u get paid to travel the country you should do one man for your collection i think it is well worth it, i mean really who doesnt want an assult chopper transformer
Oh right yeah I see it now. It's the chest (and colors obviously) that threw me. Is it possible to do that chest with Hound as he is from the package or do you have to mod him?
you have to mod him my friend, i added a ball joint between the crotch and chest from a lego bionicle to get the swivelling, doesnt really throw the transformation either, and allows for more dynamic posing.
Ah darn it. I'm not at the skill level to be modding quite yet I think. I'll keep it in mind for later. I wanted Ravage but not Hound from that set but seeing Swindle there makes that Hound toy look so much cooler so I'd like to do that to it.
but I have no idea how to stick on ball joints and all that unless I'm missing some tutorial and a list of tools I need. I'm still struggling with just learning to paint well
