Seeing as we're on the eve of volume 3's release I'm wondering if there's going to be a volume 4. I haven't heard any news about it and unless I see the "continued in volume 4" banner on the last page I'll be really nervous. Can someone please help me out?

I don't have any official news, but it'd be awfully weird if they just dropped the ball after volume 3. I'm going to continue to assume they're released the entire run.

Yeah, I was just wondering the same thing... Volume 3 will arrive at my home tomorrow, and it was preordered before volume 1 even came out... No sign of volume 4 for the UK, either..

The prices have been going down more each edition... I wonder if that's because of poor sales. I really hope they finish the series. I have never had a chance to read the end of the US series, and this will probably be my only chance to ever read the UK issues.

The best of the US series is in the issues that they haven't printed yet.

It would be kind of stupid if they didn't finish, with the series being revived at issue 81 later this year. I'm honestly surprised they aren't pushing these TPB's out faster so that they are all out before issue 81 hits the shelves.

It would be incredibly random and odd if they just stopped after volume 3, especially with issue 81 coming out.

My guess is they are waiting on issue 81 to be released first. Then there will be more interest in getting the back issues, and they can charge more/sale more of the TPB's.

Yup the TFUK collections are indeed fantastic. All the supplementary James Roberts-written material is bonerific.

I've got US Vol 3 and UK Vol 2 on the way. I REALLY hope IDW finishes both of these series! Is there any way to tell how well they are selling?

I don't have anything relevant to add, but I hope that the exhaustive UK releases, which reprint some stories for the first time ever, also implies that they intend to do a G2 omnibus when these volumes are finished

Fireal. I would buy a TPB reprint of the US G2 series in an instant. I hope if they do it, they include all the G.I.Joe crossover stuff that leads up to it too.

yeah that'd be nice. Those issues are included in the latest GI Joe volumes (they're reprinting their vintage stuff too), so I dunno if they'd release them twice or not.

I know that the first GI Joe/Transformers crossover wasn't reprinted in the first IDW collections, despite having at least one plot thread that's significant to the main story: the rebuild of Bumblebee into Goldbug. For that matter, the Headmasters mini-series (which was also relevant to the main story) wasn't reprinted until the last volume, which wasn't exactly linear. They chose to also put the Movie Adaptation in the last volume, which was -not- relevant to the actual continuity like the GI Joe crossover was.

So basically, who's to say what will actually happen. But since the current releases are already more complete than the previous one, hopefully they'll be thorough.

Hey, anyone know how many UK Classics there would be total? I picked up the first one recently and tried to figure it out but it's kind of confusing. The UK stuff goes to like issue 300 or something crazy but they are smaller issues and include the US stuff broken up.

So it's hard to make a good comparison.

Got my Volume 3 today; No GI Joe or Headmasters (so Goldbug and Fort Max just appear out of nowhere), also, for reasons of completeness, Man of Iron is included in its entirety, even though it's already been included in the UK books.

TFWiki seems to have 8 volumes lined up for them, but not sure if they've based that on a source

Which GI Joe volumes are you talking about? I've been looking for an outlet to buy the G2 comics.

The Joe comic issues that contain the second US Joe/TF crossover that leasts up to issue 1 of G2 are included in TDW's latest Joe tpb.

-Zacwilliam, not the G2 mini itself, of course, just the Joe issues that set it up.
