Genozaur, I have not plans at the moment to change RID UM to Prime. I actually don’t have the mold.

Shifter Prime, the head was from Energon Superion. I molded it and enlarged it using Hydrospan and then molded and casted the enlarged head. E. Superion’s head was too small so had to do that. The “ears” were made from the missiles that came with RID OP. I just modified it and attached them with screws on each side of the head. For the ladder, I just removed it from it’s swivel post by unscrewing the 2 screws of each side of the ladder. The rocket holder fits where the ladder use to be. The center where the ladder use to be is too narrow for the rocket holder so I had to dremmel off enough of it to fit the rocket holder in between there. So that there is a tight bond, I used 2 part epoxy to attach the holder to the swivel.

Teletran, it took about 3 weeks to do the custom working maybe 4 hours per week. Paintwise, it’s basically just straight spray painting using Krylon gloss white, Krylon Patriot Blue, and Krylon Red for the main colors. The white on the face is testors acrylic white, the silver is testors acrylic silver, and the yellow is testors acrylic yellow. Everything was then sealed with testors clear coat.

In case anyone is wondering, the blue portion of the chest are the 2 halves of a foot from a 1/100 scale Heavy Arms Gundam kit.

Thanks everyone for the kind words. This was a fun custom to do. I hope to see more themed contests in the future. I will finally get back to finishing up TWW Shockwave. I've procrastinated long enough I think. :p

Thanks for the info dude. I'm gonna get to work on one of these once I get a RID Prime. I already have CD Red Alert which I bought to repaint as a Classics Omega Supreme but I would rather have a beefed up G1 styled leader sized UM.
