So I go to my local WM, look at the TFs and still just movie and Animated, only new stuff was the Leader Class Megs and Bulkhead. I then proceeded to the adjacent bike aisle as it's where they usually unload new toy packages before shelving them. I saw Animated Leader boxes, Mighty Mugg Boxes, TFU Robot Heroes and lo and behold the last box I decided to look at before giving up: TF Universe Assorted Deluxe. I tore that sucker open, went the through them all and gathered the best looking ones, headed to the register and grabbed a Big Red and checked out. KA CHING!!!! I finally have the joy of adding more figs to my collection without having to order online.
Unknown to me. Besides only have a Walmart in my town. Kmart closed down years ago. I'm so happy I found them, teh yayz0rz. Now I just need to get the rest of the Universe line.
Here in London, one of the most cosmopolitan and dazzling cities on Earth, the hub of the developed world, from where all time is measured now and contemporary parliamentary democracy was founded, are still waiting for our first Wal-Mart. A few years after that we will get the Universe deluxes. I think Beast Wars was finally released over here a few months ago. Toy prices being what they are, British fans have decided to club together and just buy Hasbro a nuclear warplane that runs on Unicorn blood instead.
News to me! Only place around here carrying them is still TRU. I've already picked up the deluxes so hopefully Wal-Mart will get Onslaught soon.
Yet another sign of Britain's immeasurable civility, especially when compared to the US, soccer hooliganism notwithstanding.
