    Just a Digibash...for now!

So his cab is actually going to be flat blue with red accents.

And I might make some modifications to make his smokestack rifle resemble either his shoulder towers or his shoulder missles.

I suggest you find a good alt mode picture and digibash the exact same scheme on it as well, so you can see how it'll make his truck form look. Its always nice to get a scheme to look good both ways.

Yeah, I already retouched an analogue altmode pic with some markers, the Cab is basically all blue, with the grill and bumber staying the same colour and the roof is red, I was thinking I could either repaint the windsheer as red to try and incorporate it into the overall colour scheme better, or paint it blue like the rest of the cab to cover it up.

see, I dont have a problem with Magnus as a Prime repaint, I just wish Hasbro would stop making him white with blue accents. He's light blue with white and red accents and a different head! If Hasbro would catch on to that idea, there'd be no problems. In other words, I like where you're headed

Correction, that's only when he has his trailer in G1.

And the all white colour scheme has only become popular in recent years due to the dream wave comics.

More people know him as the red, white, and blue bot.

I think this looks cool! And you know, if you're already going to swap out a head, you could also lose the robot mode's grille. That really says Prime to me, not Magnus.... but since it's just a false grille anyway, you could replace it with a more Magnus-like piece and still retain the truck mode's grille.

I'm actually not swaping out the head, I'm just going to add a more Magnus like face over the Prime face plate. Then I'm going to alter the head fins slightly to look more Magnus like. After that I think it makes a pretty good Magnus head.

You could actually just paint the part of his body that is covered up in truck mode. Give him some colors closer to his armored up G1 bot, but still retain the white truck mode like G1.

Yeah, but that would mess with the colour of the arms, plus I'm painting the window frames blue, so I figure, just go all out and make him blue.

Oh, okay! That's probably a good idea... that way you can be sure the head will fit. Anyway, cool stuff, can't wait to see it done on the actual toy!
