UPDATE: 8/19 - This is the direction I am heading with these guys: Cartoon style G1 and at this time I am going for a simple and clean style (not much panel lining or washes if any, and just a very simplistic cartoony look for the individual bots, vehicles, and Devy himself.

... Each figure is still in the refining stage as there's still quite a bit of TLC to do.

UPDATE - 7/24 - See where 'red' below...
Hey Guys, been on a break here for awhile and have been fine-tuning my Devastator, which is FULLY transformable for all modes. I also gave him some minor upgrades here and there (various panels applied here and there and sanded off parts that don't want here and there. Also used putty to mold various parts as well, all of which has been done to change his usual look up a bit).

I'll be completing his paint applications probably for September/October. Just a little teaser for now. He's very, very durable and strong!

UPDATE: 7/24 ...more progress (recently primed Devy to get him ready for painting - less Scavenger and Bonecrusher.

    More to come soon!

DANG IT!! I do have his side waist panels and rear dump bed, just forgot to put them on before taking pics.

What's with the posterize filter? It makes it difficult to see the details.

Exactly :D  It's just a teaser so I don't want to show what I've done so far just yet. Thanks Soundwave!

    As cool as always, Zac!

The "Finish Him!" lets me remember a game I used to love very much --- Mortal Kombat Trilogy (dont like the current cartoon-like style, ahhh, off the topic)

looks great,im working on a cartoon style like this aswell.i like that you fill in the screw holes and build parts up ect

but i have to say the filter is a little silly,i think everyone and his dog knows hot to build these now and i think people would appreciate so see your solid build before the paint app

anyhow looks great looking forward to seeing more.cheers

Thanks Kaos, that's my goal :D

Much appreciated! There's more to it as far as building up and all, I even made the actual combiner connectors totally removable and set them up in a neatly enclosed casing. They're removable so if something fails down the road (WHICH it won't, but 'just in case') it will be stupid easy to replace (bolts, washers, screws removable - while retaining a clean and professional look :) )

The filter is just the teaser, I'll reveal Devy once he's all painted and combine of course.

I've filled in screw holes on a few of my customs. It's a total tedious pain in the ass so I can really appreciate the work that's went into Mixmaster thus far. The paint is clean and looks factory! If it was me I wouldn't do any weathering. The paint right now looks too beautiful to dirty up. I'm really looking forward to see what you do with Scrapper, my favorite of the Constructicons.
