After six months I finally got back on the wagon with this one. Sorry the pics are a bit crap, but they get the point across. The running boards are cut from a Zoids ...Konig Wolf? kit. A big ol' wolf with goggles. The cabin is from a Zoids Blox lion. Gun is Small Energon Prime, everything else is RiD Wedge or G1 Twin Twist. I know people feel bad about cutting up G1 figs but dude, it's a Jumpstarter. There are a dozen more in a pile in the corner.

He's still a slight partsformer, the booties pop on and off with magnets and the cabin pegs onto his back in robot mode. Still, it's a nice job filling out the kind of dinky RiD Wedge mold, and the stuff I've learned from doing this one will go a long long way towards my eventual Topspin.

Only real heavy modding left is a possible resculpting of the helmet into something pointier ala the original Twin Twist. From there it's stripping, sanding, and painting.

It looks awesome. Despite it being slightly partsforming, its still badass to look at.

I really like what you did. Very nice design and integration of the G1 parts. Will the original G1 head fit? That would be the cherry on top.

Go for it! You'll probably have to find something else to replace all the Zoid parts, though. ;D

Oh wow. He's assembled, but unpainted. there's a Topspin in the works, but he's still got a ways to go.
