This seems to be a popular one at the moment with two wips on this page , mine was made with a reprolables upgrade M15 ( a awesome set ) , the scanner was scratch built and pegs into the back of his head and his lower legs were reversed to get the altmode parts on the front to give him a classics style look , some minor work with the dremel is required to get him to transform correctly also his forearms and upper legs were painted with chrome spray , apart from that this was quick , easy and fun.

Simple, but effective! To be honest, I don't think it was even necessary to reverse the legs, since Trailbreaker never had altmode parts there anyway. Do you plan on any paint detailing (like making the head black and putting some red details in)?
And what does that missile launcher come from?

Frankly, I think you could quite reasonably just paint the head black, and do the eyes and a little detailing on the hips in red (and possibly the shoulders), and it'd enhance the homage a lot in a few minutes...

Not that it doesn't look cool as is.

I love nice simple mods like this. They tend to make me wonder why I didn't think of it though.
