Minor/Repaint: Classics Trailbreaker (Stockade repaint and small mod)

    Still practicing...and decided to do some dremeling. The legs are reversed. I will take some ALT shots when I get my stickers printed, until then he is just Stockade ALT.

    Interesting. I wish I had one. It'd help me to see the leg differences.

    Yes, but the feet raise the front a bit. I'll need to work on that, but for display it works fine. If you have this figure, check it out...the back of the legs seem better suited for Classics, less alien like.

    That actually works pretty well! Have you trimmed down the original knees, so that they don't obstruct when the legs bend?

    I can see the mould working surprisingly well for Trailbreaker, except for the arms - they look far too big and brutal.

    I reckon, though, that if you could get hold of a decent set of Deluxe forearms and attached them to the elbow joint, and attached the 'shell' part of the forearm to the shoulder, you could actually make it a really good homage.

    Hmm. Is there any chance you could show us a pic or two with close-ups of what you actually did? I'm tempted to give it a try, but I'd like to have a heads-up of exactly what's involved before screwing up my only fig.
