Hey all. Here is one of my older kitbashes (it's been done for a while). I decided to take some pictures of it for the galleries, and figured I would also post a new thread for them. I used a Cybertron Excellion, and basically jsut painted the blue, white, black, and the red on the face. I accidentally rubbed the Autobot logo of of the front of him, but I haven't had a chance to replace it yet. Probably my first good kitbash, imo. Thanks for looking, and for any comments. The following 5 pictures are additional one's I took. http://i95.photobucket.com/albums/l128/Ravenxl7/Finished Kitbashes/TCTKP11.jpg http://i95.photobucket.com/albums/l128/Ravenxl7/Finished Kitbashes/TCTKP12.jpg http://i95.photobucket.com/albums/l128/Ravenxl7/Finished Kitbashes/TCTKP13.jpg http://i95.photobucket.com/albums/l128/Ravenxl7/Finished Kitbashes/TCTKP14.jpg http://i95.photobucket.com/albums/l128/Ravenxl7/Finished Kitbashes/TCTKP15.jpg
Well I dig the paint job. But it's your camera or the lighting that makes it blurry, but still an awesome looking custom. Oh, same goes to Perceptor.
looks like your spring-loaded wings are not longer spring-loaded anymore. lol, same thing happened to mine. real pain to get those inner-workings back together.
Thanks . They are more blurry than the Overlord pictures I took today, but atm I'm content. I might take some new one's later on. I'm planning on taking some pictures of Perceptor tommorow. Thanks . While I did come up with the idea to do this kitbash on my own, I know that it's been done at least once before myself. Thanks . Yes, yes it does. Actually, I purposefully took the springs and stuff out. I'm not a fan of the gimmick, so I decided to leave it out. It lets me either leave the wings in or out withought needing a cyber key near by.
I liked how your Tracks came out when you finished him a short time back and it's good to see him again For your photos, I'd recommend a couple of things: shoot your photos a bit further away and focus them with your camera. You can always crop them later. crop them later and make adjustments. You can download Picasa or if you have Photoshop, you can play around with the cropping as well as make any slight adjustments you need to. use multiple lights. I use a bunch of desk lamps. You can control the lighting a bit more this way. Keep 'em coming man!
I always wanted to do one Since I seen TF Master's version of Tracks he did from this mold, I may end up doing one if Universe 2.0 doesn't do it first.
