These two chaps were forgotten along the times, they surely need some attention.

Very cool! The only thing is I would add some little highlights for some more detail. Other than that, these look great!

Yes you are right Solrac333, I'll put some minor stickers on them to break the full collors a little.

    Thanks!

They look to be made from RiD Wedge and the Jumpstarters.

Oh these are nice! :D  Now that's how you bring these old diaclone molds into the 21st century... :lol  They look great! :thumb  I think it's about time I acquired my own Jumpstarters... (Given that there are so many on Ebay, it's hard to believe I still don't own them yet... )

    Thank you gentlemen!

Ok doc, I'll post here the parts I used to get 'em done.
It's quite simple and easy to reproduce, and I'm quite sure that better custom versions will pop up from now on.

The parts used to make each jumpstarter were:

    Twin Twist

    -1 RID Wedge mold
    -1 Twin Twist G1/Diaclone mold
    -1 G1 Nosecone drill (Mine was K.O.)
-Set of M.A.R.S. robots articulated arms, this little guys are quite common to find here in my land, and cheap too. (Gift set with 3 robots)
Happy Kid Toy Group M.A.R.S. Creation 7-Pack toy review

-Set of solid treads (Mine came from a bulldozer toy replica I had lying around)
You can also use the original Wedge arms if you can't find the other items.

    Top Spin

-All the parts mentioned above, except the Nosecone drill.
-The shoulders side plates I used came from those M.A.R.S robots set of feet.
-The side blasters came from those M.A.R.S robots guns too. (Plus you will have a lot of extra spare parts from these guys):thumbs2:

That's all, once you begin trying to attach the parts you will find out where to cut off.
The whole thing consists practically on sawing off Wedges cabin and jumpstarters pegs from under the chest and also top of their legs (those cylinders which hold springs inside) and small parts of the lower waist too.

On TT the side drills are attached with little screws.

On TS you will have to saw off the front "forks" or whatever they are, shaping closely to the edges so that they will fit well on the altmode.

I ain't no good on paintjobs at all, I think my skills are crap but I advise you guys to primer all the parts before painting them because Wedges mold plastic will probably bitch up the paintjob since it is quite difficult to be painted, specially with bright collors...

Be aware that the TT head will need some extra effort to be pushed inside of the torso in the transformation and Top Spins head will not fit due it is kinda bigger so you may need to mod the back of the mold too.

    That's all I guess, good luck!:thumb

Those look great. I really think the Topspin works well with Twin Twist close in second.
