1. Needs red and silver on the wings to break up the blue.
2. Looks a little too shiny. Doesn't have that Classics flat finish.
ya i,m thinking silver to instead of white it also needs a thin coat of duller spray
You may want to try Krylon Matte finish. Even over Krylon Fusion gloss paints it gives a durable flat finish. (I sound like a commercial..LOL) Nice though.
thanks i,ll try the krylon finish after i paint on red and silver strips then post more pics
Very nice. makes me wonder if I should have made my gear black or grey. Also, is that sliver or grey on his chest?
looks good, but like others have said, I would go with a more matte finish.
It will help to bring out the details like the panel lines better.
ya i,m dulling down the color with matte clear coat tomorrow after i do the red and silver stripes to late tonight i,ll do tomorrow i,ll post new pics as soon as i,m done and i did his chest in silver
got a question i,m trying to dull my thundercracker hes to shiny will the dull coat wreak the canopy or should i remove it first.
I'd love some red highlights and reprolabels though........
it won't wreck your canopy, but it will dull it. if you want it to stay shiny (I would as its supposed to represent glass) then remove it first. honestly I put my clearcoats on before I reassemble my figures... it give it tighter joints, and I think better protection as well.
just waiting for dull coat to dry for the new pics i sprayed it a couple of hours ago it does not look shiney any more and also painted some red and silver stripes on the wings i want to trans form it but i know dull coat weakin,s weak plastic so here,s robot mode pics for know alt[/IMG][/IMG] pics real soon[/IMG][/IMG][/IMG]
the paint looks a tad thick...
looking amazing mate!
ya my first kitbash i,m new at it i have all ready started a new one for my friend he likes this one but he is getting it for free so he will have to take the one i don,t want out of the two my new one will probably be better i,m going about it a little differently lol.
For your first attempt, it looks good. I do agree that the paint looks thick though. Also, cut back on your image tags when posting pics. only one set of tags are needed per image.
