    Hey All!

I got such a warm response from all of you with my custom "Metalstorm" that I couldn't wait to post more. The only other TF customs that I've made were crafted via recipes that I found here on Radicons, so rather than just post the same old thing I decided to display this Thindercracker custom with dio photos to make them a little more interesting for you to view. I hope you like them. I'd love to know what you think!

That blue is clean, great job. Love the Dio, always cool and gives such a great feeling of size.

Edit do you play miniature games by chance? Is that your own custom terrain?

freakin sweet. that paint job looks smoooooth :)  really nice blue. great job

and i love the diorama setup. i saw some model type things in Michaels one day, that look sort of like that. I might have to go back and pick a couple up. I think they were like $15.00 a pop. It looks great!

    Great job

Yes, I used to love table top battle games, but I loved making the terrain more! I pulled out this stuff I made like 10 years ago to take these shots- they're the perfect scale. Thanks for the interest and the kind words.

Ah me too, it's been about 10 years for me as well. LOL Makes me wish i kept all my stuff, though lots of the new stuff is tempting me just to paint up.

Miked, that diplay is cool! Just how easy or hard are they to make? Like thyvipera, I also saw some at Micheals and was curious.
Oh, yeah, your Thundercracker is also nice. Clean paint job.

You can make all of this yourself- it's really easy with simple items from your local hobby shop. Just go looking!

So totally easy! Just go to your local hobby shop... go to the train section and get some trees, flock, and shubbery (lichen). The sky and mountains are a poster. Just grab what you can and put it together! Have fun... be excited and look at reference! You'll be making cool dio's in no time.

The blue is Tamiya Mica Blue spray paint. I got the recipe right here on on TFW2005 from a radicon named "Thundercracker". The silver is Silver Leaf and the black is Semi Gloss Black.

Wow! That's quite a compliment! Thank you. I think that the Classics Seeker mold is just about the best thing I've ever seen and I really enjoy working on them.

That's a very clean paint job. Can you post pics with his alt mode?
