I know this formula has been done before, but here is my take on Classics Swoop made from a G1 Swoop, and a Generations Thrust. I wanted to make use of the broken Parts Swoop I had laying around. Doing a G1 articulation project was not possible without a complete figure, this one had a missing beak, and a broken/missing arm, so It was Classics style for him. I scratch built his beak, and jaw, and balljointed his head, the rest of the articulation is straight seeker joints.

    Thanks.

Just the thighs and right below the knees, the lower legs are G1 modified to use the seeker knee joint and swivel.

I knew I should have kept that busted old Swoop I had... Really nice work here, I always dig updated Dinobots. The colors are spot on and very clean. Great job!!

I simply adore Swoop... excellent work. The paint is very crisp. Though, I might recommend trying to get some sculpted detail into the beak at one point or another. Just something to dwell on. The rounded flatter look of it doesn't immediately evoke the classics aesthetic, which has more detail in the molded parts.

nice, I am going a similar approach but using a different swoop so I have new parts from various bots and so on. Mine will be up soon.

Beautiful job man, Paint apps are nice and clean and the ball point pen for the alt head is a killer idea! I gotta couple of extra seekers I might try this! Nice work

This is great, get me wanting to drag the one I started out again and do some more work on it.

I love the beak, finished the figure off reall well.

    Thanks.

Thanks, but Im actually quite happy with how the beak turned out. I followed the cartoon shots as a model, and I think it got pretty close, except for the fin, I wanted that a little taller than the toon.

    Thanks guys!

Thanks, but the beak isnt a ball point pen, it's scratch built from styrene sheet heated and rolled. Its actually flared out for the head so it isnt the same taper like a cone all the way down. Its a little hard to tell, but the flare starts after the Autobot symbol, and before the eyes.

    Thanks!:)
