Anyone know of a head that I could put on Classics Bumblebee that would make a good Sunstreaker head? Right now I'm using Cybertron Longrack's.
Tough call. Not only do you need to find a head that fits the size of the figure, but also you need to find something that resembles Sunstreaker's "horns" that won't get in the way of the transformation. However, if I were you, I'd wait and use the '08 Camaro for Sunstreaker. For a narcissistic elitist like Sunstreaker, I can't see him being caught dead with a battered old 70's Camaro alt mode. Maybe you could paint or dye the 70's Bumblebee red, and make him Sideswipe. That way the twins could be different molds but still transform into the same kind of car... and a rough and ready 70's hot rod seems to fit Sideswipe's personality a lot more. zmog
I really don't want to buy any crappy movie toys if I don't have to. Also, the head needs to fit on a ball joint, as opposed to going into one like most heads.
I want to try this with the '08 Camaro BB build, since it's sleeker, and hopefully might work for Sunstreaker better. Head I had in mind was doing some retooling of a Classics Mirage.
Remember that bootleg Punch CounterPunch I had? It had a Sunstreaker head on scale with most of the Classics Transformer heads. I could mail it to you. Edit: Screw. I'm going to have to do some modding first so it could be ball jointed. Edit: Still haven't modded it yet.
Ah, but you could make it a ball-joint. I mean, it requires some spare parts and stuff, but it probably wouldn't be hard. You could probably find another toy with a ball joint that you could cannibalize for parts. zmog
