I was wondering if anyone else had issues with the car roof/chest not staying fully rotated. I can turn it to get the head to come out, but then it rotates back a bit, keeping the head out but the chest is tilted a few noticeable degrees. I was gonna crack it open to peek around but wanted to see if anyone else is having the same issue.

Just untighten the screw like a 1/4 turn and it will allow the chest to straighten up

I have the same problem. I fixed it by opening the chest and lowering it one notch on the gear. This way, the chest stays perfectly rotated in robot mode. The downside is that it's slightly misaligned at the same angle in car mode. But that's not a problem, since the legs and dashboard will lock in place and keep it where things have to be. :)

Had the same problem with mine. I was going to open him up, but all I did was kept his head pushed down till I was about 1/4 to 1/2 threw the turn and then took my finger off and it worked fine, No cracking noise to nothing..He's been transform him a few times since and still works great

I had the same problem on mine, as well. All I did was carefully force the chest around until it gave way. Now it straightens just fine. Although, I think a little plastic tab, which stopped the chest piece from moving past a certain point, got shaved off in the process. But, it's not visible and it fixed the problem so I don't care.

However, I wouldn't recommend the forcing technique. It may not work for everyone and could break the toy if not done carefully.
