    Hi everyone!
I've been working on a Stunticon and Protectobot set since January!! Eight months, feels more like eight years! Anyway...
Menasor is almost finished, and all five Protectobots are nearly done, but haven't started to combine them yet.
Steetwise was great fun to do. All acrylic paints were used. I used classics Prowl and Bluestreak/Silverstreak parts with a G1 Topspin/Twincast (always get those two mixed up!) head. The head sits on a balljoint, so is very posable.
I mixed a light grey, light blue and white to get the colour I wanted.
    Sorry about the crap photos.

Good stuff man. He's a hard character to capture the right look, as the original one had a very unique transformation. Very nice. The colors are spot on

    Looks great!

I have been thinking of adding ball jointed heads to my classics prowl/silverstreak as well.

Was it hard to change the head?

Looks rockin'! How was ball jointing the neck? Much clearance trouble? It's something I've been pondering for my nissan bros for quite some time.

Hi. My Stunticons are finished, and all connected to form Menasor. Just painting Drag Strips head, then it's done. The Protectobots are pretty much done, but I haven't combined them yet. I just posted Streetwise because he was my favourite out of all of them :)

Thanks mate :)  I like a slight grey for Streetwise, so I'm happy you mentioned the colour. Thanks again.

    Thank you.

    Thank you.

Hi. It wasn't too bad adding the ball joint. Although, I did totally mess up first time around :)  Second time I was more careful! I pulled the small screw, pin out from under the black piece the head sits on. Then drilled a larger hole in that area. Then drilled a hole in the head (sounds like a title for a NIN song or something!!!) and slotted the ball joint in tight. Makes the figure look much better I think.

Hi. Thanks for the question. It wasn't too bad, only messed up one figure then after that it was quite quick. Final outcome looks pretty smooth really, wouldn't really notice any change/work was done.

It does look great! The mod's very clean :D  It's one of two things that's always bothered me about this mold (well, three if you count the head, but that's not as bad as the lack of ball jointed neck and hollow torso) and the last thing to get solved (process' ab fillers are great).

    Definitely gonna do this.

Look forward to seeing the rest of your Protectobots! :D

Thanks mate! Really kind of you. I hope to have Menasor posted here very soon, then I might put all the Protectobots up. Groove wasn't easy, but he's finished now. Quite pleased with him.
I know what you mean about the Prowl mold. Fantastic toy, amazing compared to what we used to have! But yeah, no ball joint just isn't the same, and I agree with you about the head, not great.

I'm not feeling the head, but otherwise I think it's really nice :thumb
