Depends on if you want 'Uber Geewun' or 'Updated Geewun'. I'm fine with the original. I like the updated stylings.
I liked the updated stylings as well of the first one. To me it fit with the "modern" representation they were going for.
The Original Classics figure is nice and all but, the Universe repaint is BY FAR the better paint scheme especially if you prefer G1-esque figures. With that said, the Henkei is better than both. I have a lot that includes the Universe version for sale on ebay: Transformers Universe Classics Starscream Lot of 4 - eBay (item 220715891098 end time Jan-03-11 10:13:24 PST)
I wish I had gotten the 2.0 version because it's more Gewunny, but I heard it had some awful QC issues. At the time I was cool with the classics version, but it bugs me that he's the least G1-accurate of all the seekers.
I owned 5 of the Universe repaint at one point (it was one of those figures that I loved so much that everytime I saw it, i bought one.) and NEVER had any QC issues.
I vote for the Universe version. The Classics version is OK, but has too much red on the wings and tailfins for my taste. Universe is a much better representation of Starscream IMO. If I do get a Classics version, I'll probably keep him in packaging.
i have the TFU Starscream, and never had a problem with him. He looks great on my shelf next to his "ghost" mold (the deluxe sized one.) you may save a few bucks getting the TFU version instead of paying a steep price for "classics".
Used to own a TFU/Classics 2.0 "White" Screamer. Bugger was floppy & full of looseness & it took me a good 6 months to rid myself of him. But I've to agree that the white on him is awesome.
