Well the title says it all...

    2 options:
-barely no mods, but additional piece for a 3rd mode
-if I do need to mod, then I'll go all the way
(but want to avoid the latter, to safe the figure ;) )

    MAJOR update:
Well I could wait... I didn't feel like starting Menasor...
I want some classics taking care of first :D
Behold... again no mods to springer have been done, just the add-on parts
(still need to find a way to also get those parts a function)

    YES HE'S A HEAVY PARTS FORMER :p
    -rotor
    -rotor assembly (just remove screws)
    -hoist thingy (just remove screws)
    -cyberkey/weapong (remove screws)
-aircraft wings (from a large 14tomcat modelkit I trashed longtime ago)

The photo's you see are different configurations... I guess the latter is best!

How did you make your Gif file?? That caught my eye immediately! I would like to make one for my Devastator thread.

Oh, and starting a new custom right after finishing Predaking? Kudos to you! I get burned out on this stuff.

    Easy :D

    1. Have a remote for you camera ;)  (can do without, if you shake even a single fraction you eventually see it and bug you)
    2. Make pics :p  (DUH!)
    3. Open PHOTOSHOP CS4 (if you don't download 31day trail)
    4. Drag in the first pics into the draw window
    5. then drag the others (in my case Springer just 6 where needed to loop)
    6. You've got to have 6tabs opened now, so goto tab2
    7. CTRL-A (select all) then CTRL-C (copy)
    8. Go back to the first tab (on the left) and CTRL-V (paste)
    9. Repeat for all (in my case 5times for the total of 6pics)
    10. Close all tabs except the first (you should now have 6layers)
    11. Goto view "enable" animation windows (the extra tools appear below)
    12. Hide all layers except the first (the EYE icon in the toolbar on the right)
    13. On the animation toolbar click duplicate
    14. Select/Un-hide the layer above the first (this will be your 2nd frame)
    15. Repeat for all (in my case the in sixth frame I have all layer visible)
    16. Save for web/devices, choose GIF 128 [no dither]
    17. Scale until you get under 2megabytes (this boards maximum GIF size)

Goodluck... otherwise feel free to ask!

    Where's the custom work?

When you have work to show, post a thread. If you have an idea, post a thread in Creative GD.

Cool! When I first got this toy I was thinking of making some kind of accessory with wheels that would give him a ground vehicle mode and transform into a weapon or armor for him in robot mode...

Sooo, you're making him into more iof a MASK Switchblade Jet/Chopper Triplechanger instead of the car/copter route?

That's pretty cool, especially given this is Earth-Mode-Springer :)

I was about to ask the exact same question.

Seems to be some sort of new Springer that changes from Copter to Plane to Robot, and forgets the armoured car mode or something. At least that's my best guess.

Another thread of the same partially formed idea... This kind of thing is really disappointing because I see it from you so often G60.
Ive said it before, but posting a WIP for everything you start seems very needy for attention (or guidance as you say).
With the constant flood of your WIPs here at TFW it sure would be nice to be surprised by a completed work you did all on your own without a WIP.
You've done some really nice customs. They are badly overshadowed by these WIPs that usually just start with your idea and little to no work done yet.

Looks like the offspring of Springer and MASK Switchblade.

While I don't totally agree with everything above, the modus operandi is to post a "WiP" when a significant amount of work has been done. Posting a thread whenever one has an idea a small amount of work done is a thread more suited for Creative General Discussion (which is why the thread was moved there to begin with earlier today). Creative General Discussion was created for artists to have a "think tank" of sorts without cluttering up the projects thread (which already has a high volume of traffic). Even more so of an application for "coming soon!" types of threads, which are pretty much spam to start with.

In short, if you have a good amount of work to show us, post it here, in Customs; if you have an idea of something else you need help with, post it in Creative GD.

In G60Force's defense, he did try to post his work earlier and posted of his technical issues. However, when you post a thread, make sure everything's in order before hitting the "Post" button

    Now, back on topic . . . .

Yeah I'm still fiddling to find a decent ground mode :(  no luck so far!

Oh now I get what you meant, earlier I didn't :)
Like stated... I think springer need at least a 3rd and so far it's a jetplane ;)

    yup :D

    thnx mate!

exacto :p  (well I might still find a groundmode that works, but it's hard :( )

There was already an explanation for the thread move. See moderator notes. ~Superquad7

:)  LOL it actually does whoops... :p

Yeah and this I know... one thing for sure I only make a WIP thread when actual work has been done, so I have met the minimal criteria. if the amount of work is not good enough? even a simple headswap would get it's own WIP if you tend to continue from there right? Well that how I see it :D  thnx

I'm getting sick an tired of him posting 4 or 5 different WIP's at a time and seemingly never finishing them or showing anything substantive. I'm all for brainstorming and running with your ideas, but this is getting a bit sick with it, inst it Allen????

While still reinforcing what I've said earlier (which members should simply default to), I will also say that if one only has the intention of posting a multitude of projects with a minimal amount of work and then not returning to these projects, one would be best suited to post one thread with all projects in the thread. Multiplicity of threads is a good thing, but not simply for multiplicity itself.

As far as the project goes, I have to admit a bit of confusion as to why the 3rd mode is an airplane. Springer's modes are a land vehicle, helicopter, and robot mode. I mean, if you want an airplane, go for it. Most people who want Springer to have a triple-changing feature want the modes I mentioned, though.
