Yeah, missed the Thundercracker "confirmation" myself, but that's still cool. It also means (minus the exclusive Devastator) that for the time being, there will be a Transformers toyline with a balanced faction! It's just a tiny bit lame that Hasbro can avoid giving more new molds to Decepticons because of the Starscream mold, but proper seekers with options for the last two coneheads? That's not something to seriously complain about. Just stick Shockwave or an Insecticon in there and all is well.

 

Someone asked/yelled about T-cracker in the upcoming toy panel, and it was replied with a semi-dismissive "It'll probably show up somewhere" or something like that. Hardly a guarantee, but in Hasbro-speak, it's far from a "no" (like we got for Soundwave - at least for this go-round)

Man, I have been begging for a Classics Devastator for ages. Then Hasbro took the stupid way out. The Energon combiners were okay enough that I bought one of each mold, but they were lame enough that I would never buy a repaint. Including the cruddy Classics one.

 

You know, with the great stuff they did with a lot of the Cybertron Basics, I'm surprised Hasbro decided to make this line only Deluxes and Voyagers. I guess that's because it's just filler, but minibots translated into basics could have been really sweet.

Of course, this is coming from someone who has not yet found deluxe-sized bumblebee.

 

Yes, this line should definitely be expanded.....This (at this point, of course I do not have any in hand) is the best line in the modern era of toys (Alternators/Binaltech does not count, because I don't consider them 'toys')

Love hearing that Galvatron will not be a Megatron repaint which is very good for in the G1 line like everyone knows Galvatron was totally rebuilt from Megatron and it appears Hasbro wants to keep that vibe with the classics.

Can't wait for them the hit the shelves.

 

I'd like to see an update of any figure that appeared in the cartoon before the movie.

 

More Minibots, specifically Powerglide and Warpath!
Roadbuster, Whirl, and the Jumpstarters, cause we need the Wreckers.

I know they've said no Soundwave, but I wouldnt mind seeing the tapes (Both autobot and decepticon) show up in some way. A group of minicons? Maybe something funky like a single vehicle that splits into the different tapes?

You know, one name that I always saw mentioned in Alternator wishlists, that I haven't seen once in a classics wqishlist thread is very puzzling...

Seriously, people went nuts when they found out about the Alt that never was, yet no one seems to want him in Classics form. I would love to see him. Other than that, I'd like:

That should do it for movie characters, especially if we're definitely getting a Galvatron. As for non movie characters, along with Trailbreaker, Ironhide and Ratchet are a must. I'd like to see Blitzwing and the Insecticons.

 

Powerglide has actually been made. It's the LoC Jetfire repaint, Fireflight. Hasbro just couldn't get the name Powerglide.

 

No, he means G.I. Joe couldn't use it. There was a character from the comics named Bombshell and they made a figure of her, but had to rename her Bombstrike due to a a Copyright or a Trademark or something. Don't know who owns it though.

As for what I want to see. (leaving out Jazz, Cosmos, Sideswipe, Sunstreaker and Thundercracker.)
