This was my entry for the custom competition at Auto Assembly this year, he didn't win but all the other entries were fantastic and Nick Roche and James Roberts liked him so that's good enough for me.

He is made out of a Cybertron Skywarp with classics seeker arms and the wings cut off and reversed.

painted in Citadel paints he certainly looks to fit in better amongst the Wreckers cast than the HFTD Terradive mould in my opinion.

Awesome! instead of transforming into an X29, Snare is a S-45 Berkut... Aces!

I'd been thinking about doing a Snare custom with my Skywarp a while back, and I kind of forgot about it. This has rekindled my desire to do it.

Nice job, definitely something to be proud of!

Paint looks super clean! Legs are horrible but that's the fault of the mold, not you.

I saw this at #AA and chatted with you about it over a sandwich. :)  I totally forgot to get a spare Skywarp to do this for myself though, argh! Lovely work, the pics show off some of the details I missed under the cabinet lights.

I like the modded head and paint choice. What color (citadel paint name) did you go with for the orangish-red?

It's one of the new ones, the one that is a base. I was originally going to base coat it in this colour before going over it with a different red but when it was applied I liked how it looked so much that i decided just to weather it slightly instead.

Cool! It's a nice mold, even better when it has two fully functional arms. Where's the head from?

Ah, I see, would it be the new base color called Screaming bell?

    Mephiston red mate :)
The head is just the stock one but I shaved off the existing facial features, I intend to make a proper face mask for him out of styrene at some point.

Unfortunately not, I've not really got any attachment to the others other than Skyquake and Stalker due to their appearance in LSOTW. I do have an original Skyquake though and was playing about with the idea of using Universe Silverbolt for him for the longest time.

Thank you for the kind comments everyone, it really helps with motivation to keep on going.

Thank you so much for this, it was just the inspiration I needed to make a Snare of my own! I'm currently in the process of making Stalker out of 07 movie Wreckage myself, and now I'm searching Evilbay for aUniverse Silverbolt for Skyquake (which after I mod and swap heads with my junker Machine Wars Starscream will look very Skyquake indeed)

Be aware that the head sizes between Silverbolt and MW Starscream are very different. Never actually stood them side by side but I think the mw head will probably be too big.

The head is too big unfortunately however I had already modded the main body extensively in a failed attempt to articulate MW Starscream, so I may only need the limbs from silverbolt, as well as the waist assembly to finally add Skyquake to my shelf.
