I think the labels on the back glass/legs are way out of place. Also, how did you paint the stripes? They look just a little rough. I know masking tape can leave that kind of edge sometimes though.

Aside from that, you've really paid Smokescreen his due, man. The treatment of each aspect of him is really nice. You've done an EXCELLENT job! I think with all of the posts from other Radicons saying that they want to go out and buy one of these to make their own really says something about your work :thumb  In commercial design, if an artist can get a customer to want a product, they've succeeded. :)

The bottom line is that you seem VERY pleased with your efforts (as you SHOULD be! :) ), and we're here happy with ya! Thanks for sharing your work :thumb

thanks for the comments everyone. it means a lot.

^ yea, i'm not sure about the back window stickers yet. and i'll def. be cleaning up the white lines, they look pretty horrible right now. thanks for the comment/opinion/and kind words.

i've just started on red alert now, so i'm aiming for him to turn out better than smokescreen. hopefully

I'm actually about to make one of these myself, Prowl's paint on his roof was so tacky i scraped it off with my thumbnail out of boredom, I figured instead of taking that risk with another prowl or repainting this one in the same colours again I'd just make a Smokescreen and get Henkei Prowl and Bluestreak when they come out.

In my opinion you did a good job. Despite the painting stripe and stickers like SQ7 mentioned, you did Smokescreen justice and if you're happy with how he turned out then we're happy as well.

I've noticed that happening with my Prowl, too - I'm actually having a go at redoing the existing paint apps, more or less. Hopefully my paints are more durable than whatever the hell they used.

    Smokey looks fantastic, top job.
Out of curiosity, how did you mod the roof? Prowl's roof as it comes is screwed to the mount via the light bar, and obviously you've removed that. I've got my own method in the works, but how did you attach your roof without the lightbar?

thanks for the comment. I took the light off and cut off the little cylinder that the screw, screws into. i then superglued that into the roof piece, and glued the rectangle roof piece onto the roof. then i puttied/sanded/ and painted the roof.
