I recently removed my Skywarp to remove all of the dust on him with a toothbrush when his nose cone connector crumbled into several pieces. Almost like he has GPS or something. Never put any pressure on the area so no particular reason it happened other than crappy and brittle plastic. Has anyone else had this problem? Drives me nuts cause I know he will be expensive to replace, may just need to get the Henkei version eventually.

None of my thirteen Classics/Uni/Henkei Seekers have shown any sign of this. Pics?

None of mine have this issue as well. The only issue my classics Skywarp has is that the plastic casing for the pin that the tail fin rotates on cracked, which is common with the SS mold.

My Skywarp was fine when I moved last October. Though I do plan on swapping him out for the Henkei! version eventually.

no problems with mine, i always thought the henkei version feels more fragile than the classics... i only transformed henkei SW & TC a couple of times...not gonna do it anymore... however i have no problem transforming classics SW and acid storm, they just feel more solid.

Just assuming here, but maybe you just treat it more carefully knowing it's a Japanese store-exclusive and cost a whole lot more than a regular Seeker mold release.

Not that I don't show care towards my Classics or Universe figures, but I know I show more care towards my Henkei!'s.

My camera is busted but it`s right where the pin connects to the nosecone. My other Starscreams and Acid Storms are fine, might have just been a dud but damn does that suck. Held together well on display for years, just crumbled for no reason. I even tried to re-glue the parts last night and they crumbled worse!

i take extra care to my henkei's cos they are generally more expensive and the chrome can be scratched easily. the only figure that i trasnform on a regular basis is starscream 2.0 cos he is the only one that i regret getting....should've bought the henkei version in the first place!

the only figures in my collection that has never been transformed are henkei skyfire and MP starscreama as they both came in bot mode...

Um... he's not very expensive. If you are patient, he pops up on the Junkion for $20 every now and then. On ebay, $20-25.

If it makes you feel any better, I now have 2 Classics Starscream, 4 Universe Starscreams, and the Henkei!. Though some are for repainting.
