Yeah, I gotta go with Redline on this one- why would a creative property owned by a toy company, based off a toyline have a new cartoon without a toy line attached to it? Its one of their flagship brands to boot.

Yeah, that's not gonna happen. There is no way a new Transformers cartoon series will ever not have a toyline to go with it. The show isn't even close to being started so there is no reason to believe it won't have a toy line. Heck Heros isn't even it's official name, it's the working name until they actually start fleshing things out about the series.

So yeah, still gonna wait for my Heros UM toy as it most definately will not be another Prime repaint

I'm skipping Classics Prime (since I have enough Ops anyhow) just because of this 2 pack. Skywarp will let me have all 3 original seekers (Titanium Thundercracker makes 3!) and that Magnus repaint is the first repaint Magnus that actually looks cool. Better than Prime really...

Doesn't have to be a reliable news site for somebody to admin it.

    Yeah okay, whatever....

Look, first off, I wasn't the news admin so don't try to make me out to be something I wasn't. I was the site/forum admin, so knowing everything about the news wasn't my thing.

Second, grow the hell up. As far as I understood it, Heroes wasn't getting a toyline the same as Classics wasn't getting a cartoon. I don't remember where I heard that from, and I have looked back to try to find the story I read it in, but to no avail.

Now, I will freely admit that I may be wrong, and if you have some link or information that shows that I would be more than grateful. But if you don't then who the hell are you to say any different? Hell, even if the info has changed from what I remember it would be something.
As Nevermore pointed out: "Source?" That goes for you too.

Seriously, I thought this site had changed for the better over the years, but apparently it's the same as it's always been. way to go butz and fosterlager, you sure did show me.:rolleyes2

is it just me or nobody outside of TFW2005 boards is capable of taking a joke?

i can never wrap around my head the idea of ppl who collect kids playthings that are so uppity and serious-like.

anyways, if the heroes toys are going to be anything like the classics, i'm down with it.

just out of curiosity why are you being judgmental of an entire community because of TWO people's actions? That'll get you nowhere in life man. We've not gotten any news about the toys that will go with the show because Hasbro wants 2007 to be ALL about the movie and its merchandise. We were told that pretty much directly back at Botcon. That's why Alternators is going on hiatus, that's why Classics are only going till May, etc etc. This "heroes" show won't even air until long after the movie buzz is gone.

    Geez.

Anything from 1988-1990 was a toyline that had no cartoon.
Machine Wars was a toyline that had no cartoon.
Universe was a toyline that has no cartoon.
Alternators was/is a toyline that has no cartoon.
Titanium is a toyline that has no cartoon.
Classics is a toyline that has no cartoon.

Name me one TF cartoon that had no toyline attached to it.

Jokes aside, I'm not a fan of baseless rumors with not one shred of credible evidence, even if it's buried in the ass end of a completely unrelated thread. I like it here because the news staff takes their role seriously and their credibility is top notch.

I can take a joke just fine, I just don't like seeing people taking on an attitude toward me because of where I used to admin.

Now, Nevermore has a point, and I have said that I can't find the report that there wouldn't be a toy line for Heroes, but I don't think that deserves the apparent crap that is starting to be flung at me.
So yeah, I heard this a while ago, and things change so there may very well be a toy line (I would be happy if there was) but to start dissing on Seibertron.com is just unnecessary.

Sorry man, my comment wasn't meant to be taken so personally. Seibertron is an excellent site.

    Sure, not in Skywarp.

But what about the Classics Mini-Cons, Legends Leo Prime, and 2-pack Megatron? They seem to be referencing non-G1 lines just a smidge. (And yes, Hasbro does consider all of those to be part of Classics.)

Anyway, I can't imagine that there wouldn't be Heroes toys, either.
