    FINALLY! 100% Complete!

Finished custom cast gun-hand and I'm happy with it.:)

Here's my take on Classics Shockwave. Nothing major as far as actual kit-bashing. Just slapped in Classics Dropshot's arms and casted Universe Inferno's water cannon for Shocky's hand cannon. I'm still working on the color and casting. For some reason with casting in clear purple(which is what I want it in) I tend to get a milkly color mixed in. If any casting pros have any suggestions, please let me know what I'm doing wrong. I am having fun though testing other casting colors out. And the hose is for my work. It's just a high strength rubber hose used for holding metal parts together.
    Any C&C is welcomed:) .

That is awesome man! And the casting looks pretty danged good! I really like the clear one with the red core. I will definitely have to snag some of those from you! I so need to add a Shockwave to my collection. IF you left it as is, the gray and purple of the cannon would fit in with Shock/Shackwave composite.

Your casts are perfect man very well done

As for the milky thing try doing a 60/40 mix ratio. 60 being the part with you color. It will take longer to harden but it may help your problem

Haha! RF, this is staying in my collection.:)

Thanks Soymonk, soon I'll be putting handles so other Tfs can hold them.

Thanks takarei, I complete forgot about the alt mode. I'll update soon with pics.

    Thanks Toby,

Just let me know when you want those guns.:)  And hey, you already have the Shockwave mold:)  I haven't forgotten about the killer deal you got on it.

Thanks Megatron31, that means alot coming from you. I ready dig all the stuff you put out. I still have the Preceptor rifle that I got from you. :thumb

Thanks for the tip, I actually thought that my ratios where off and that was the issue. But after three, I know it has to be something else. But I will try the 60/40 you where suggesting.

Thanks G1Bumblebee! I appreciate that man!

Lt. Faceless, you do NOT want to put RIT dye into resin. Believe me, I know:lol . I tried this and the salt in RIT causes it to foam up and freeze into a gaint sponge.

no prob man, i wouldnt mind knowing what material you used to make your mold, i dont even see your mold line in your cast parts (though i am assuming you trimed off the excess) and clear casting is something i havent got into yet but been thinking about it.

I didn't think of putting it in the mix.I was talking about after the part is casted and dried. Then prepare your dye and dye the part.

This is what I used for the mold. Quickset RVT mold rubber. That stuff is fantastic! Buy the mini casting kit for $30 and you get resin and clay, which I think is a great deal.
