Is it possible to improve on the classics deluxe seeker mold?

How else can a deluxe jet fighter plane be done? I feel this is the closest we'll ever get to perfect deluxe sized, G1 styled seeker jets and cant imagine further improvement. That is my opinion of course. Whats your take?

How would classics (8.0) starscream improve like classics 1.0 improved the G1 mold?

In terms of how the mold looks i do not think it will get any better. The aesthetic choices and design of the classics seeker mold is incredible, hence why i do not hesitate to purchase new versions of it. Improvements could be made in the articulation category but there is not a lot of points that i feel need to be added. A bicep swivel wrist swivel and waist articulation and maybe some better feet. Of course this is based on what we see now who knows what they can do with these toys in 5-6 years.

The current mold is still nice, but...

    - thigh legs are actually too short in relation to lower legs

    - chest pieces stick out too much. I know it's for the fold out wheels, but it's
    still silly imo.

    - null rays are too big

    The highlighted pointed.

I do love the current seeker mold, I really do. But I think it would improve greatly if we were given smaller, more accurate null rays to allow for more articulation in the upper arm without the null ray hitting off the wing and pushing it back.

Other then that, maybe just better articulation in the head, arms and feet. Unless they some how find a way to make the mold a mini masterpiece figure, with exceptions obviously ie. possibility and extra features, then I don't think this mold could possibly get any better.

But I do love it the way it is! :)

Already cool, head articulation could be better, and slightly smaller Null Rays, but that's it for me. :)

Not sure if you're aware, but there is a third party kit for the seekers that includes smaller more accurate null rays as well as improved hinges for the wings so they can fold back more. It's available via TFsource.

As for an official release that's probably the best we can expect because of the US child safety regulations. I would like to see improved wing hinges so the wings can rotate back and longer thighs. Overall though I'm happy with what we got, they really did a good job with Classics Starscream.

I can see improved articulation, with double joints and whatnot, having the wings on balljoints or something of the like, so they can fold back and allow the arms more movement, and a way to make the giant chunk of chest detail hide away better in jet mode.

It needs much more articulation all across the board. A way for those wings to get out of the range of the arms, a foot overhaul, less undercarriage kibble, removing the nosecone kibble, and a bit longer thighs.

I personally dislike the mold for these reasons. The seekers were never interesting to me in the first place, so they can stay the way they are and not tempt me.

To be honest I would like to see feature where you could flip up the tits/nipples, and there would be missiles underneath them like in that one G1 episode. (Forgot the name)

There are plenty of ways to improve the articulation on the toy, as several others have pointed out. But I still think its a decent mold in spite of it's flaws. However now that we've gotten all 6 Seekers released at retail maybe it's time to release a new old so the fandom can wet their pants about getting all six of them yet again.

I was being snarky ;)  I'd LOVE an official Sunstrom release. I just got the CHMS version and love it but honestly as many colors as Has/Tak wants to repaint it and release it I'll buy it!

The Megavolt Robot Factory Coronation upgrade kit [looks like it] improves the mold greatly with jointed wings and more accurate null rays.

It'd be cool to have a kit of just null rays for the whole gang....

As others have said, a few more points of articulation in the arms would be nice, and better wheels, I always found the front wheels goofy looking. However, I am plenty happy with the mold we got.

I personally dig the current Seeker mold... but others have pointed out articulation issues.

Well, if they were to do that, then I'd like them a wee bit bigger- like Classics Prime bigger.
