They always say the RiD Car Brothers have been used so much, the molds are shot, but how does the Classics seeker mold compare?

How many times has each been used? I think that one has to be up there with the RiD molds. Anyone know?

there is several versions of the classics seeker mold, that is why it is able to be used so much, there isn't just one mold for the seeker, there are at least 3 just for the regular starscream body i believe

CR Speedbreaker | CR Wildride | CR Mach Alert
CR Clear Speedbreaker | CR Clear Wildride | CR Clear Mach Alert
CR Super Speedbreaker | CR Super Wildride | CR Super Mach Alert
RID Side Burn | RID X-Brawn | RID Prowl
RID Super Side Burn | RID Super X-Brawn | RID Super Prowl
Walmart Side Burn | Walmart Prowl | Universe Inferno
BotCon Roulette | BotCon Shadowstriker | BotCon Sunstreaker | BotCon Sideswipe

So that's 6 times for X-Brawn, and 8 (or 7 if you don't count the 2 BotCon uses) for Side Burn & Prowl.

    Seekers

    Classics Starscream
    Classics Skywarp
    Classics Ramjet
    BotCon Thundercracker
    BotCon Dirge
    BotCon Thrust
    Henkei Starscream
    Universe Acidstorm
    Henkei Ramjet
    Universe Starscream
    Henkei Skywarp
    Henkei Thundercracker
    Henkei Thrust
    Henkei Dirge
    Henkei Ghost Starscream
    Generations Thrust
    Generations Dirge
    Generations Thundercracker
    G2 Ramjet
    Action Master Thundercracker (?)

So that's at least 19 uses of the Classics Seeker mold, and possibly 20 if the AMTC rumor ends up being true.

So yeah, the Seeker far out beats it. The difference between the Seeker mold is that there has been maintenance, or even possibly several different versions, done to that mold.

Look at this way, Classics Starscream used a different version of that mold. An updated version of the mold was later used for the last version of Starscream, then for Skywarp, Ramjet, the 3 BotCon figures, Henkei Starscream & Ramjet, and Acidstorm. Then a new version was used for Universe Starscream, and then Henkei Skywarp, Thundercracker, Thrust, and Dirge. Then the old version was used again for Ghost Starscream, and the 2 Generations figure released thus far.

I suspect the Classics Seeker mould has been remade at least once - Universe Acide Storm, Universe Starscream and Henkei Thundercracker were progressively loose & floppy, whereas the Ghost SS release that followed shortly afterward was tight enough to indicate new moulds. We'll see how Generations Thundercracker turns out to see if the trend continues.
