I mean, I like it, but I still think it's overrated. It looks good only from the top in seeker mode. From the side, it looks ok despite the oddly placed chest wheels, and it's looks terrible from the bottom. The wheels are not even functional. That's just lazy and almost insulting. Would you accept a deluxe car with non-functional wheels? In robot mode, arm articulation is crap because wings get in the way of the missile launchers. Could have been much better. Cybertron Thundercracker and ROTF Breakway have much sleeker lines in jet mode and ROTF Breakaway has the perfect arm transformation, they're super well hidden. If the legs were slightly beefier, Cybertron Thundercracker would have the cleanest leg transformation. They should merge the best of Classics, Cybertron and ROTF to create a new one.

I think it's more about opinion.

I would have to disgree, but I certainyl respect everyone's opinion!

I absolutely love the mold for my own reasons, and would love as many variations as they can dish out.. it's like the one mold i don't mind repaints of to be honest. Seeker drones, sunstorm, us versions of the remaining 2 coneheads, heck, make more rainmakers or new ones. Me likey!

I don't think there is a single seeker mold that looks awesome from the bottom. Hell most car Transformers don't either.

Understandable reaons why to dislike it. However, I must agree with everyone else this far. I love it and it is probably my fav mold to transform back and forth.

*EDIT* Besides the guy who posted right before me. =)

I like the mold, but some bicep swivels would have been nice. And a bit more posability in the head (especially on the coneheads). And smaller guns. Still not a bad mold though.

You absolutely have a right to your opinion but, the Classics Seeker mold is absolutely NOT overrated. It is the most awesome and toon accurate version of the seekers we've ever gotten.

The F-15 mold is awesome as well. It is fun to transform and is THE BEST Classics/Universe mold along with Cyclonus.

When compared to the various seeker molds in recent years, I think it comes out on top. Definitely better than the Robotmasters mold from a few years back, and certainly head and shoulders above the various Animated voyager, legends, and activators molds.

Still, there's something about the G1 seeker mold that is just timeless... as long as you don't mind your bots having two points of articulation. :lol

Not perfect, but a cheap and fun mold to pick up. Good army builder.

I'm a bit biased (Starscream is my favorite TF after all), but I would hardly call the mold overrated. But it really is the best Seeker mold we've gotten yet. It's a near perfect representation of both the G1 cartoon character design and a real life F-15 Eagle. And like someone had already said, no Transformer looks good from the angle which you see all the robot parts, so that comment is just completely invalid to me.

Arm articulation is actually fantastic. I get some great poses out of the figures. The wings don't even get in the way, I may have to tilt them back slightly, but it doesn't hurt the overall look. Don't be stuck on the ball-joint being the point of articulation, they gave you a shoulder hinge in the transformation. Use it. I do.

If there is any negative about the mold, it's how much I pay for repaints. But I still don't question my willingness to do it.

    heresy!

    OK not really.

this wouldn't be the only plane mode in which the wheels don't work.
the toy does have issues with articulation though. and those GINORMUS null rays?:thumbdown

but every toy has faults and pluses.

IMHO this toys pros really outweigh the cons.

    seekers rock!
