    CLASSICS SCORPONOK

100% inspired by Spurt Reynolds, one of my favorite painters/customizers.

This guy took me 20+ hours to paint and I'm pretty happy with him.

Thought I would share him with you guys.

and also, I plan on getting that guy from EXO SQUAD and making him into Zarek. I think he'll work.

    Very nice job.
How did you find painting him? back when i painted mine i really underestimated how complex this guy is & he pretty much pissed me off throughout.

    Thanks for the compliment:thumbs2:

    thanks for the compliments everyone.

SR: that's exactly how I felt the whole time. I would spend a few hours on just one arm. I was frustrated the whole time, but it was a great feeling finishing him, which made it worth it.

I'm definitely not planning on a second one anytime soon. Even though I've been thinking about how cool Black Zarek would look.

Thanks again everyone, and I have a small idea in mind for maybe a headmaster. I havn;t looked into it yet, so it might now work.

Nice paint job. Really neat on it. Anyway, what's the gold that you used? Like the matt colour of it.

Looks awesome! Was the gold hard to work with? It came out really smooth and bright. I just did touch ups on my Scorponok from about a year ago and remembered all the trouble he gave me. I remember thinking it wouldn't be that big a project, then found myself dismantling him just to get to all the nooks and crannies. Anyway, great job on this guy. Does the Exo Squad guy fit in his cockpit?

thanks. with me, testors gold and silver paints are really easy to work with.

you're right, it's crazy how much of a pain this guys is. i dont know what it was, but it took forever. i finally wound up dismantling his arms for better positions and angles.

for the exo squad guy (wikkipedia pic), he won't fit into the cockpit (i'm pretty sure). i had him as a child, and i thought of him when i was thinking of lord zarek. i thought it might be cool just to have the figure with him. i'd have to order him off ebay, so I might not even worry with it.
