I'm planning on modding a shapeways neck piece so he can use the perfect effect head and retain neck rotation but for now he is just wedged in.

So wait, which head is that and can you buy only the head? I've never been a big fan of the original head sculpt and have been trying to figure out a replacement.

Sweet! The color layout is simple, but very effective.

It's the head from perfect effect deathstalker (SD scorponok) should run you about $20 but it doesn't fit on the figure without a shapeways adapter Scorponok Headmaster Adapter Revision by anthony_oster on Shapeways(pics show him wedged into the chest hinge.

If you want to go a step further, and it's worth the money to you, the deathstalker head also works in the neck adapter for the headrobots green king kit that comes with new claws for the figure and also give him neck rotation, though the neck rotation isn't implemented very well

I saw that buddy but I don't dig the claws as they look small and remove the spaceship mode. The neck adapter looks really nice but I don't think it's worth the price of the kit, I'm hoping I can get a swivel from widening the shapeways parts socket which should hopefully allow for the headmaster to sit in the cockpit as well

Fair, if that doesn't work for you then you can have my neck adapter from the green king kit if you want, I dislike the way it works. No charge except maybe shipping, though even that would be negligible haha

I did yes, I cut away some plastic from the bottom corners of the front pieces near the body and whittled down the poles of those parts thinner so there would be less friction.

Tried my best to explain that but I know it's not very clear basically I just removed some plastic and reinforced with glue, would have looked ugly without paint though.
