But it doesn't mention a new mold for him, does it.

Let's say it is real the name Bulkhead will make it to the Bayverse brand, but there's no new mold involved (maybe a head mold, I'll throw ya that bone).

Who do you think they'd repaint for him?

It just strikes me as odd that they specifically named Lockdown and Bulkhead, especially because the former is getting an all new TF. The wording only adds fuel to the fire as well.

I'm very interested to see this play out. A movieverse Bulkhead . . . Hell yeah.

Lockdown we've already seen pictures of. Bulkhead has me interested. A classics/universe style would make me happy. Movie-style...er...not so much.

I think it was more meant to describe the fact that those two can pretty much fit with the classic lines as both new characters and new toys. I only have a few animated figures, and I generally mix all the lines when I display them but Leader Bulkhead and Lockdown go real nice with Classics guys. Moreso then Bumblebee, Prime or even Swindle do.

That said, I wouldn't mind a movie/universe redesign of everyone's favorite big green clod. Just as long as he doesn't have that buzzsaw hand again. That's easily the worst part of the leader toy.

Lugnut, what with his one-eyed-ness, would fit nicely into the movie theme. As would Shockwave, though I'm guessing they'd still have to call him Shockblast?

A classics/universe Bulky wouldn't make much sense to me, since that would basically just be Animated Bulkhead. People forget the universe line isn't just G1. And Bulky done in a G1 style still wouldn't look all that different. He'd maybe just have slightly less curved look.

I'd say if this is in fact true, it's probably going to be a rotf version of the character. The style is different enough to justify doing a new Bulkhead figure so soon after Animated.

That's rather interesting. Especially seeing how he was part of an entry for the Design a Transformer contest.

Could anyone see them repainting TFU Onslaught as Bulkhead? Not saying it would be a good idea, just that it could be a possible thought at Hasbro

I would, however, love a movieverse Bulkhead. I think he'd be great as a real world APC. Hopefully, they'd be able to do a better job going from TFA to TFTM than Blackout seems to have managed going the other way.
