I hear a lot of people talk about how their Rodimus have stress marks or a broken chest hinge. Is this a common problem?

I don't know about it being common, but I think it's what happens if you try to fold down the chest w/o first pulling the arms out.

If you push the arms towards his chest or his back this will happen. Heating that area up will remove the stress marks. I've seen this happen on all versions of Rodimus except for the clear one and the C@C one. Though I haven't opened my C@C one yet. I have every version of the mold.

I've never heard of it or encountered it myself, but that doesn't mean it doesn't happen. My Henkei Rodimus is fine though.

Happened to me 2 months ago. Luckily, the way his parts peg in both it's in no real issue aesthetically or functionally.

This. My original is undamaged because I've always done the transform right, but I did buy one that was already damaged from this. I'll see if I can take some photos of what I did to fix the damaged one, because I did try a few options like Apoxy Sculpt, Welder Glue, and plastic meld to fix it before I found a good solution.
