more pics to come in a few days.i hope you like it so far?
CAn't wait. This mold would perfect for an updated Gears.
Pretty sweet piece of work. I like that you added the BM Tankor gun just for extra firepower. The only thing I'm not crazy about is the "handle" that extends from the backpack unit. It just seems like unnecessary clutter, especially in vehicle mode. Is that head from the CM's chogokin version of the Mugen Calibur?
Start from the Captain America version of this mold, and most of the painting is done for you.
sorry about that i 4got to put pics 0f it cliped under the truck.it makes it look like a exhaust pipe
Yet another great custom comes out of this mold. I'm starting to think there are more customs using this figure than there are original Iron Man figures left. Can't wait to see it all painted up.
And exhaust pipe? Hey, that's not a bad way to hide it away. Cool.
It still seems strange that a robot would need a control stick to operate a mounted weapon, but it's still an interesting detail.
Cool. Say where did you get that head? If I can't find a good one for cheap I'm seriously thinking about building it around the original Ironman head. I caught the Ironman version at Ross for under 10 bucks. These things seem to be quitr sturdy making them good for customs project.
i made it from the g1 fig.but i think spoonman on here has them and the front bumper
i know but thats how its on the g1 toy.thanks for looking have pics up of paint soon
Seeing this thread, and (like trence5) having found the body for 9 bucks at Ross, I have decided to make this my first custom project. Thanks for the inspiration. Fingers crossed...
http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/radicons-customs/221792-gears-made-easy-wip.htmlOh wow. Yeah, that's eerie how close that is naturally to him, head n' all. Even the wheels on the shoulders are close and, judging from the pictures, the transformation seems similar even. Thanx.
if you need parts look up spoonman i think he has some
trying to get the pics of it painted in a few day
How did you ratchet his legs into a normal stance?
Also, good start. I look forward to seeing the final product.
