I might have missed it, so could anyone point me towards a thread or give me the info on when the waves of TF: Classics are supposed to hit shelves?
REALLY lookin' foreward to Classics Grimlock :D

    Thanks in advance!

    Next Tuesday at 3:32pm CST.

Seriously, there isn't an exact release date. Your best bet is to keep an eye on the front page for news of them showing up in stores or check your state's sightings thread.

American releases are not primed for specific release "dates" like they do in Japan. They start shipping once Hasbro has decided to start sending them out to warehouses.

TRU, Target,Walmart and other big box stores will have theirs shipped out approx 3 weeks before JRS Toyworld and BBTS will get theirs. This is does to the extra process of going to the distrubition centers and then to the stores. JRS and BBTS don't have distrubition centers and receive them directly at their warehouse.

This said, even though the big stores get them shipped first, JRS and BBTS will probably have them up for sale before them.

In terms of retail I would say, as previously reported in posts by members in the news section, I would be expecting Classics to start popping up in US retail stores around end of October/Early November, and a full blown release in November in time for Christmas.

As for online I expect we'll see them to start shipping early October.

Except for the cases where sources said "September" or "October".

Once someone finds them, they're bound to post them up in there. The Sightings section is useful too, once someone finds them in your area you know when to really start hitting places up.

I actually discovered a new TRU (well, new to me) when Cybertron hit, thanks to the sightings forum.

So pretty much... they could start showing up within about a month and a half?

I'm visually comparing these images and some stock pics of the other Deluxes, like Crosswise, Hot Shot, Downshift, etc, aaaand I'm curious:

Is that about the height we're looking at for these guys? I wonder if, say, Starscream, Astrotrain and Hot Rod will be taller than Bumblebee or if they'll be equal in height.

I remember that pic that was somebody snapped of all the first-run classics loose and they all look to be about the same height, but I can't remember for sure. I'm really hoping Bumblebee is a short bot, though.

Classics will begin showing up the last week of September & the first week of October.

From what I understand TRU should have a similar lead on them like they did with Cybertron because Wal Mart and Target are not set up to fit Classics in to their displays at this time and will not be resetting again until some time in October.

Now convert to USD. :D  About $26.79. Soooooo tempted to order me a Hot Rod... let's see, I need one loose, one sealed, one to repaint, maybe one for other mode display.... I think maybe I will.
