    Hey guys!!

Yeah I know this has been done several times in the past, but I decided it was time for me to take a stab at it.

So here is my repaint of "Classics Ratchet". Hope you like it. :D

Nice work with the paint. I really like this mold and I think it works well as a Classics representation of Ratchet while paying homage to the "base" mode from the original toy. It would've been cool if Hasbro re-released this mold in these colors a la what was seen in the Botcon version.

yeah I would love to see something like this instead of the ironhide repaint we are going to get. At least this is believable as an ambulance. I am not a fan of the hummer as a medical vehicle thing.

its not a hummer, and I've seen SUVs used as emergency vehicles... fire chiefs, etc. Having said that, I do also like this too.

Thanks guys! Glad you like it. I had been dragging getting it done for awhile. I guess since I grew up with G1 I am kinda partial to the G1 feel and look. :)

Nice custom. You should give him a paper head to make him G1.

yeah I can take a firechief or a forest ranger SUV, but they still dont fit as ambulances. This one does however.

Nice. I'll chime in with the others and say that I've still always like the idea of making this figure into a proper Ratchet... not only for the van altmode and the G1 robot mode, but because the "base" makes for a great stretcher/portable repair bay.

The Prowl head fits well too. Nice.

I think the new Universe mold is okay... but I agree with the others. I too am tired of SUV's masquerading as ambulances.

Pardon my "newb-ness", but I love that mold! I'm not familiar with it. Who is it and what line was it from? I'd like to hunt one down.
    Great work BTW.

Yup, 100% agreed. Even if it's a bit more simplistic than the Universe figure, this mold still makes a better Ratchet. I actually buy this vehicle as an ambulance, and the stretcher makes complete sense.

    Nice custom!
