And - just saing - how about doing some awesome swords, movie style perhaps, for Nemesis Prime and a Thor-like Hammer for Ultra Magnus? just like the one in Animated...

EDIT: Looking at that again, are you gonna wait for the second prototype to come from shapeways? So that then the measurement problems will be fixed?

EDIT 2: BTW, Venom and HS, along with PG look great as WST's. Why's Topspin and Twin Twist not for sale, though? Wish i could do something like that... Also, you might want to hollow out some of your kit's parts, as the WST Powerglide should not be costing that much (unless you set it so that it met the minimum amount). I have something four times as big for only twice the price.

 

Movie style sword for Nemesis Prime? Wouldn't the design not really flow with the classics styling? I did think of doing my own version of the Sword of Fury though... The hammer idea for magnus, iGear is already releasing one, so I don't want to make my own.  

I didn't post a link to my SW pages because its against forum rules, as it would be direct advertising.

Any design I decide to make a fully casted and painted run of, will not be available on shapeways for sale, as to help keep the nature of the limited run. But some items I will make an altered version available for kitbashers, like an upcoming Blaster head.

The WSTs are commissions. The jumpstarters were designed to have a wheel system installed by the client himself. So the version up on SW right now is missing wheels. I'll be adding a custom made wheel to it later when I have time before I make it available to others. Powerglide's price was increased for those that want to try shapeways out and don't want to buy anything else. So it was up to meet the $25 minimum purchase requirement. When I have time, I'll upload a second version for cheaper for those that want to buy other things at the same time.

Also, my Shapeway's page is right now for myself and clients. I'm not really selling stuff to general public yet.

 

Fair enough. I'll wait for the production run. I want that shield adapter.

 

Nice work again bro (keep me on the list) you think keeping the Autobot symbol on the axe may get you into trouble if you start selling these?

I don't see why Hasbro would have an issue if I make a small run by myself and sell these directly. If these got picked up by a retail store, with a big run, I would edit out the symbols then, as I would think selling them as is would make Hasbro take action. Basically, I hope the small run of these slips under Hasbro's radar?

I would hope so, Im just looking at it from the garage-kit POV seeing the heat they get sometimes. But if you can be "in/out" without being notice then GO FOR IT! :]

It'll be cheaper than buying everything off Shapeways directly and painting it yourself.   I won't really know the ballpark of the price until later this month when I get the molds made and start casting.

i love this, the axe in particular, as once the legs are done on my prime i will need to tackle the energon axe, i love how you have given the axe an update,but with a g1 vib still, brilliant!!!
