Finished (well as finished as i can get him)


I decided to go back to the drawing board on this and took out my KO classics prime and went for the G1 Prime Cab and i looks so much better.

Here are some shots of the alt mode and the base mode.





The alt mode is the weakest by far but the best is when i added the God Bomber

So for months i have been telling people that have made this same custom that i have one that i am working on, and im finally almost done with it and wanted to share him with you now.

The trailer was made from two G1 PMOP trailers, a G1 head, the waist from an Armada Unicron and the arms from a MP Prime.

The cab is made from a KO Classics Prime. I had to mod the legs to be on ball joints so that they could come off so he could fit in into the chest area. My first go of this custom had the legs coming out the back of him and it just looks horrible. So instead of back kibble i went with a partsformer. I can live with it.

HiQ is made from an Alt engine gun, a G1 HiQ, and a minicon, cant remember which one. I got the idea of using this exact minicon from F_R, he used it when he made his Hardhead head master and i started playing around with it and to my surprise it worked out great and even kind of transformed just like the original HiQ did. So i took the top half of my G1 HiQ and grafted it into the minicon, took the engine and slapped it on his back and gave him a hand hole and a gun.

So, more work is needed, i have a plan to make the double barreled guns actually functional in base mode, as well as the BFG he has.

This looks great. I've got a couple (three, actually) Powermaster Primes as well as an MP Prime, I had intended to work on one of these myself but I doubt I'll get to it now.

Does the KO Classics Prime have Decepticon emblems on his shoulders?

Yes he does, i have not gotten to cleaning him up yet, but those will be gone when the finished product is ready.

Alt photos will come in due time. I have two more minor mods to make, the back end of the trailer and the trailer hitch. Once they are done the trailer mode will be complete. And a few more scratch built parts for the base mode and that will be complete.

This is probably my favorite modernized PMOP yet!

Only thing I could suggest is to add some more bulk on the inner sections of the lower legs. They look a little hollow.

the proportions on this is really nice, my only complaint is the super mode's knees. you can't make them smaller, so maybe you can take the boots from a junker and double them up. that way they aren't hollow anymore and the knees won't seem as big. keep up the great work.

Mampy, given that PMOP has gotten alot of love lately that means alot. Im not planning to add bulk to his inner leg portions cus i do like the trailer portion of him.

He was my favorite prime as well.

Thanks, it took me a long time to get all the right parts and im glad i waited and did not settle on using inferior parts. thanks for the comments, i think taht the shin area could be bluked up a bit, i will get on it.
