very nice work here Brunkion. I too would have preferred this over the official release. Much better IMO.

Keep at it man, you've surely got some skills when it comes to bashing :thumb

I gotta agree with hailstarscream, I've seen a bunch of other PW customs but, going for the truly "classics" G-1 look...You NAILED it!!! Very nicely done for a first custom! Keep it up my friend, you've got a very promising future as a basher!!:D

    Cheers!

For a first time, thats pretty wicked. Probably just a little cleanup on the face, but the color and use of the balljoints is really nice.

Awesome man, awesome! Love the colour choices and the weathering effects!

I still can't find this figure anywhere. I live in Sydney by the way.

Very cool interpretation of G1 Powerglide. I have been doing a few repaints and customs, but have yet to post any pics. I am always afraid they do not or will not turn out G1-like enough for my taste. Is that wrong of me?

Totally understandable to feel that your artwork won't meet to your standards. Don't feel discouraged to post them up though, people here will give feedback regarding what you can do to make them better! :)

Thanks to everyone for their honest critiques and comments, if you find this bash impressive for a first time custom it is only because of the awesome work I am inspired by and learn from in this community of kitbashers!

Hope you don't mind me borrowing the general design of this for my one (sans original Powerglide, who I don't own)? I'm looking closely at your photos and trying to create a system for the wings to swivel the way they do.

Might fine work here!!! If I had an extra version of this mold, I'd try it out myself.

Excellent use of the original head, it work s great for this custom. Not much else to say other than it a perfect rendition of Powerglide.

Very awesome. How did you get the wings to fold up like that for robot mode?

This is really a well made custom Brunkion76.
It looks dead on to the cartoon version and is in scale with the classics line.
    Well done man.

@Kalron- Thanks man, your rendition played a huge part in my desire to make PG, but unlike yours I wanted him to be a bit smaller to fit the whole minibot thing, still, I love what you did man!

@Everyone else- I am considering making a tutorial for the wing mod I did, super simple really, gonna get on that as soon as I find some time, and so no one gets left out, thanks again for all the kind feedback.
