    yay for jumping the gun!

anyways, i was noticing how the classcis line has similarities to SW's POTJ line.

    - filler line preceding a movie line
    - nice designs due to condensed cast
    - very collector friendly line with attention to detail and character selection.

    whaddaya SW heads think?

Not bad. Allthough I thought that as a Star Wars line POTJ really sucked. But the Classic line looks really awesome. Now if only they had a G1 Arcee .... oh please hasbro.

no wai! POTJ utilized semi-action poses unlike saga extreme poses, was a big improvement on POTF2 which was on steroids and helped out with filling out obscure characters. plus, they were almost all original sculpts :D

I would suggest that a closer comparison would be to the Original Trilogy collection, which came out before ROTS, stopped for a while, then started again, if I recall correctly.

Which is good for us, as it could mean a return of the Classics line once the movie toys fizzle out.

A big part of POTJ's awesomeness was it's obscure characters. Bo Shek, Ellors Madak, the green R4 unit, K-3PO, R2-Q5, Darth Maul training, and a Leia with the cutest little ass you ever did see.

Classics would have to release cult favorites like Bludgeon, Sixshot, Nightbeat, Brawn, Springer, and Arcee with the cutest little ass you ever did see.

They did a Bo Shek figure?

Awesome, no toy collection should be complete without a spaceman from the planet Elvis.

Does this mean that TF sales will tank after the movie too?

Not unless they rehash and repaint a ton of toys over and over like Star Wars.

    Uh oh.
