Here is my take on the Diaclone Police Lambo. I have a couple more paint apps to add and I may use another head. I partswapped as much as I could between the 3 versions to minimalize the amount of painting required. Lightbar is from RID Prowl. Oh, I want to add that this was also inspired by Jason Jupiter's version.
This looks superb & turned out mega crisp. I got a Red Alert on the way to Turn into Deepcover & i might just have to pinch that Prowl lightbar idea.
thanks spurt. i'm trying to find a wfc cj head to paint black and put on it. that way he ties in with red alert but stands out from sunstreaker. i need to find a junker though and redo his left leg cause when i swaped out the balljoint hinges i broke the parts that hold it in place. :S so if anyone looking and has a junker red alert please pm me. or a wfc cj head for that matter.
that looks factory quality! im guessing not down with a brush? and i'd buy that if i saw it on a peg.
i rattle can everything i can. i only used the brush for the blue stripes and all the back end. if i don't have to use a brush or paint in general i try not to. plus i like taking them all apart as much as possible and then putting them back together. gives me some sort of satisfaction.
Totally awesome, I might make one of these myself with my limited ability it will not turn out as good but seeing as Hasblow is sitting on their hands.
I really wish it had blue lights. Unfotunatrely it's cast in red plastic so it's staying as is. Do you think the stripe is ok as is? Part of me wants it thicker but then again I like it as is. I have decals I can put on him but id have to widen the stripe. What say you?

Nice job. Are you going to make your own police labels? How'd you do the black scallop on the roof? It looks too perfect to be just freehand.
I have some left over from alt prowl but it's white letters. I don't know how to make my own. I sprayed the scallop.
do you guys think it needs the labels? i kinda like it clean but then again i want it to look the best it can.
