I've got the Henkei, but the gold chrome is horrible. I do think the flame pattern on his hood is better than on the Classics, though.

I have the Classics version and love it, although the Henkei looks awesome as well. Although personally I prefer Classics since the flame pattern on the hood works better with the rest of the vehicle mode.

I voted for Henkei. The paint apps is superior to the Classics one and it really resembles the original G1 version.

I guess I'm in the minority here, but I much prefer Classics Rodimus. Sure, Henkei is more G1, but G1 Hot Rod was, well, pretty tacky-looking. It's mostly the orange hood that does it, though the ridiculously blingy chrome spoiler doesn't help either.

To me, Classics Rodimus is just more classy-looking with the red hood and gold flames. He's honestly what I think G1 Hot Rod SHOULD have looked like.

But if G1 accuracy is your thing, definitely go Henkei. These days, Henkei seems to actually be cheaper to procure, as well.

i need to get a set of those labels. i was going to vote Henkei, b/c i think the flames are more G1-ish, but I definitely want those labels now.

I had the same dilemma earlier this year, but the henkei one is so worth it.

Henkei definitely. Also I saw something about an upgrade kit for Rodimus but not sure where I heard this.

Buy whichever you can get cheaper. It's not a mold worth dropping serious money on, and if that upgrade kit does come out, prices could go through the roof.

It wont matter when the Rodimus Prime Armor comes out. So I say Classics since its cheaper.
